The Long Way to Eileen The Weary Crow: Beyond The Veil Follow Bloodborne’s Hunter of Hunters

A Riverside Industrial Metal Trio Turns a Bloodborne Character Into a Blackened 2025 Single

Bloodborne is FromSoftware’s 2015 game, set in the plague-ridden Gothic city of Yharnam. In it, Eileen the Crow leads the Hunter of Hunters, the covenant that hunts other hunters. Beyond The Veil, a trio working across black, death and industrial metal, named a single after her. Eileen The Weary Crow came out on 14 February 2025 through ADP Records.

Beyond The Veil’s Eileen The Weary Crow sits in the playlist below, and the trio’s earlier coverage is collected on the Beyond The Veil profile. The single reached this desk through PopHits.Co Music Charts. The programme verifies independent artists and places their releases across its network of music news titles. Listen to it first, then keep reading for the Bloodborne story behind it.

The single sits inside a catalogue that has been walking through the same game since 2022. Beyond The Veil’s Spotify releases open with Nightmare Of Mensis in March 2022. From there, they run through Covenant Of The Vilebloods, Maria’s Nightmare, Father Gascoigne, Ebrietas, Daughter Of Cosmos, Mergo’s Lullaby and Cleric Beast, each drawn from the game’s places, covenants and characters. When the band posted the lyric video for Eileen The Weary Crow on 13 July 2025, they tagged it #bloodborne themselves.

The band’s own YouTube channel describes its territory as horror, deathcore, blackened and industrial metal. Meanwhile, its Bluesky profile adds that the music comes from the US and Germany. Back in 2022, Thoughts Words Action introduced them as a Riverside industrial metal trio, a few weeks after their debut single.

Beyond The Veil Build Eileen The Weary Crow From Three Writers and Bloodborne’s Crowfeather Hunter

The Spotify credits name three people, and each has a clear part in the record. Michael Bach wrote the words and shares the composing credit with Adam Altemus and Jimmy Zieger. Altemus plays the electric guitar, while Zieger plays the drums and produced the recording. Bach is also listed among the studio personnel. The single runs 3:30.

In fact, the subject gives them plenty to work with. In the game, Eileen is one of the figures players meet more than once in Yharnam’s streets, recognisable by her crowfeather garb. She is also the one who deals with hunters who have gone too far. The band’s title adds a single word, weary, and that word changes the picture. It turns a deadly hunter into someone worn down by the job.

That is a thoughtful choice for a heavy, ominous single. For example, instead of writing about the game’s monsters, which they had already done with Cleric Beast in 2024, Beyond The Veil give a song to a character whose work is policing her own side. The lyric video, released five months after the single, puts the words on screen for anyone who wants to follow them line by line.

What Eileen The Weary Crow Answers for Beyond The Veil and Bloodborne Players Who Love Extreme Metal

Why keep returning to one game? The answer sits in the setting. Bloodborne follows a hunter through a decrepit city whose people carry a blood-borne disease, fighting beasts and eldritch beings along the way. For a band whose own description starts with horror, that world is a ready-made mythology with a long cast of characters.

The band also revisits its own work. In September 2023 they revisited their first EP as The Hunter’s Fate REDUX. Its five tracks gather Ebrietas, Daughter Of Cosmos, Moonlit Servitude, Father Gascoigne, Maria’s Nightmare and Covenant Of The Vilebloods in one place.

Both habits have a well-known model. Cradle of Filth built their third album, Cruelty and the Beast (5 May 1998), around the legend of the Hungarian countess Elizabeth Báthory. The actress Ingrid Pitt narrated it in character. They returned to it in November 2019 with a remixed and remastered edition, Re-Mistressed. Similarly, for the industrial side of Beyond The Veil’s sound, the classic reference is Fear Factory‘s Demanufacture. Roadrunner Records released it on 13 June 1995, and many still regard it as a heavy metal landmark.

Start with Eileen The Weary Crow, then follow the hunt to Djura’s Wrath from August 2025, named for another of Yharnam’s old hunters.

From the NewMusic.News Curator Team: “Releasing a song about Bloodborne’s hunter of hunters on Valentine’s Day 2025 is exactly the kind of dark joke this desk appreciates. It also shows a band that knows its audience and enjoys the game as much as they do.”
